At Longshaw Nursery School we have developed an ambitious and inclusive curriculum. Our curriculum supports all of our children as individuals and allows children to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to succeed in society today. Our mission is to develop a love of lifelong learning by providing a stimulating and caring environment where children have the opportunity to learn through play and explore the world around them.
We endeavour to give the children the Cultural Capital they need for future success. Fundamental British Values are at the heart of our curriculum and everything we do, we focus on promoting the more general concepts with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and understand that the children’s development within these areas is the key to promoting values in the long term.
