Autumn 1

We have had a really busy start to our term in Ladybirds. All of the children are coming into school with a smile on their faces and are enjoying all the activities in Ladybird class.  We have enjoyed painting self portraits and making collage faces!  We have enjoyed listening to Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs and have loved playing with dinosaurs we have in class.

We have experienced forest school and enjoy these sessions with Hedgehog (our teacher)  This week we have been searching for Stick Man in the forest and made our own Stick Man.

We are learning a new letter sound everyday and are enjoying our number work and learning about the Ten Town Characters.

Another busy week in Ladybird class this week. The children are now settled into school life and are demonstrating greater independence and lots of enthusiasm  when accessing the activities.  Our focus has been phonics and letter formation and lots of discussion around our book 'I Like Myself'.  We have drawn self portraits for our display and enjoyed painting and making collage faces.

In our Forest School session we have enjoyed searching for food for the Gruffalo!
